Nana's Kitchen- Recipes and Memories

As you can see in this picture, I was always teasing my brother and cousin - and many times it happened right in my grandmother's kitchen. We called her, Nana. She was always baking, and I learned everything about cooking from her and my mother - her daughter.

I found many of these funny pictures, and decided to create a cookbook with some of her favorite recipes that we all cherished over the years. Her deep-dark chocolate cake with boiled frosting served on Sunday during the family pool parties. Her super-moist banana bread, and many others are included in the book.

I titled the cookbook: Nana's Kitchen, Recipes and Memories and gave each family member a copy of the cookbook as a gift for Christmas in 2007 - a year after Nana's death.
